Has anyone had any experience with this or know someone who has? What was the price? I imagine it would be cheaper than the US.

Use the search for LASIK. There are a few threads on this.

#1. No, its not that much cheaper in SK. In fact, it'll probably be a little more expensive.

#2. I hear its pretty cheap in Canada, near Vancouver.

#3. I hear you can fly to another Asian country, get LASIK, and the plane ticket + procedure is cheaper than doing it in Korea.

i paid just over 2 million, had in done in Daegu, very very happy with the results and the procedures, I had done a lot of reading about all the tests that should be done before you get the procedure, they did all of them. I was worried because I had astigmatism, but everything was fine. I have no regrets. 2 other friends also had it done at the same place, and they also gave glowing recommendations.
