My end goal is to come to Korea and work at a public school starting in Aug. on an E-2 visa. My wife and I are ready to leave Thailand now (visas are running out) and I would like to work at a camp starting next month on a C-4 visa.
Any issues with converting a C-4 to an E-2 once in Korea? Would I apply for both before I leave Thailand?
Thanks in advance for any advice. |

Actually, it's not impossible. I did it less than a year ago.
I replied to another poster a while ago with the same question. Here's the info:

The biggest hurdle is that you must bring TWO criminal background checks with you to Korea. The process is a headache and, in retrospect, I would have rather just done a visa run.
I hope this helps. |
