Teacher, why did you come to Korea ?
I wanted to be a paid human shield
Teacher, what were your first impressions of Seoul?
Where are all the disabled people ?
The vomit on the pavement.
The sea of Asian faces on the streets
It's greyness.
Teacher, why aren't you married?
Why would I want to be a house slave, subjected to domestic violence while my husband cheats on me - I prefer financially independent serial monogomy.
Teacher, I heard there is racism in your country ?
Oh you mean Asians against caucasians - yeah I feel that too even here. It's an international thing
Teacher, what's your favorite Korean food ?
TGI's - Oh sorry its not Korean ? Oh they don't have TGI's in my country. Starbucks is American ? Really ?
Teacher, how long have you been in Korea ?
Too long
Teacher, when will you go back to your country ?
Mmm well I have a ticket booked for pay day every month , which I just move depending on whether I feel I can survive a North Korean attack.
Teacher, we are not worried about North Korea they are are brothers, don't worry.
Dr. Evil is your brother? Do your brothers allow millions to die every year ? Anyway , I'm not Korean , so I don't have to wait to find out if it was all " bellicose". |
