I recently bought a Marshall AVT 150x combo amp and I want to buy an extension cabinet. I am looking for a generic cabinet with one 12 inch guitar speaker. I was planning on buying the Marshall AVT 112x matching cabinet but no one sells it in Seoul.
I've been to the various shops in Seoul like the music arcade near Jongno and the iPark at Yongsan. After visiting a countless number of stores, I was only able to find the Marshall 1912 extension cabinet from one of the dealers. Unfortunately, the words "reasonable price" is not in their vocabulary.
The only basic requirements I need from the cabinet is that the width needs to be 607 mm (23.9 inches) or longer and the depth needs to be 290 mm (11.4 inches) or longer. Also the back of the cabinet needs to be enclosed. The cabinet needs to sturdy enough to hold up the AVT 150x combo amp, as the amp weights 28 Kg or 61.7 lbs and will be placed on top of the cabinet.
I am also looking to buy two used Celestion G12T-75 or EV150 8 ohm guitar speakers.
email me or send pm.

Not too many waygooks carted their Marshall stacks in the overhead luggage rack on their way to Korea, Phlex. You might want to try the Korean auction sites, for which you will need a Korean buddy to translate. That's your best bet IMHO.

I know no one in their right mind would bring their stack in the overhead. But there are many musicians here playing gigs, in Seoul. I thought maybe I'd get lucky and find someone needing money or want to upgrade their equipment by selling any spare 1x12 cabinet.
I was quoted 500k won for the Marshall 1912 cabinet but that's more than I want to spend for now.
I completely forgot about the Korean auction sites. I'll have to find a Korean native who is bilingual.
