I've narrowed it down to a shortlist of DVDs I have seen, but I haven't watched in a while. I can't make up my mind. Which would you choose?

If you've never watched The Wire, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

Ended up watching Goodfellas for about the 23rd time. Great movie. The Wire is fine, too. I've seen it 3 times before, but brilliant. And who is more freaky than Jack Nicholson when he wants to be.

Good thread, Goodfellas is the best of that bunch, though all depends on what you have/have not seen before

Naawww. When I've watched it I've watched 2 or 3 episodes a night.

bovinerebel: there are several Brit movies I'm after.

- Quadrophenia
- The Firm (Gary Oldman is great in that)
- Trainspotting

Plus some comedy series:

- Only Fools and Horses...
- Blackadder 2,3&4. Didn't care much for the first series.
- Men Behaving Badly
- The Office (Brit version)

I did watch all 3 Lord of the Rings movies one Sunday round my mate's house. About 10 hours I think.
