Finally got a chance to sit down and read this. Ah, printed it off at work, grabbed a coffee after work and sat in the sun and read this sad abortion.
Okay, so 49 year old dude is banging a 20something filipina bar girl but believes her story "no no I'm just a waitress". For a guy from montreal, you'd think he'd be a bit more savvy. Isn't that what all the Quebec strippers tell their moms back on the farm? "No no mom I am a waitress in Toronto."
Anyway, she's supposedly a good catholic girl but he doesn't notice porking an old white guy is not exactly what good catholic girls do.
So, he's looking forward to a whole summer of shagging a little brown girl nearly 2 decades his junior six ways to sunday on a beach and in her childhood bedroom with dad next door when his mom, who is already not very healthy and makes you wonder why he's in Korea in the first place, suddenly takes a turn for the worse. He then suggests to his lil shag bunny that she gives up her family duties and comes to montreal to help him bathe his mother and shag him in montreal. When she says no (she has her own family members she needs to bathe), he turns into the biggest pųssy in all of Asia, sends her nasty email (copies his own family on his little dispute so they can see what a big man he is, trying to convince a 29 year old filipina that the great white man is taking the moral high ground), and then writes a whiny biatchy door stopper of a story and decides ESL teachers on Dave's need to understand his suffering and might learn something other than the biggest pųssy in all of Asia actually lives right next door to them.
Jesus rogering a leather biker!
He has one little speed bump with his filipina hump (who doesn't have little tiffs with their S/O about how/where to spend the summer?) and not only is it the end of his world but suddenly it has become a big moral lesson and has changed his view of family. Which I will wager $50 is an attitude that's going to last 2 weeks before he goes back to chasing little brown SE asian women again. (K girls not giving you a second?)
And this is the guy that claims we're here to colonize Koreans? Yet he's sending money to poor SE women and then demanding of them certain behavior?
Geez. |
OK...So I got to the point in your post where you say, "Ah, printed it off at work." That is where I stopped. Can I ask again why you and others are so obsessed with this man? You could find nothing better to read or do with your time? His writing is of such importance to you that you find the need to print it and sit down to read it? Is this a cult of something you all belong to? Can't any of you find anything more interesting to do with your time when in Korea? |
This is coming from someone who has posted on this site over 400 times since January . |
Well, I agree spending a few minutes a day posting a comment on this site may not be the best use of time you certainly won't see me printing out comments by others to read with my morning coffee, especially if all I can do is whine about them. Are you possibly jealous of the fact that this guy has gotten quite a bit of attention in Korea? Like I said. I am really just trying to make sense of this obsession. You really haven't offered anything that helps me understand it. Possibly you don't understand it yourself.
Three quick questions.
1. What was your relationship like with your father?
2. Have you ever been touched by an older male in a way you felt was inappropriate?
3. Did you enjoy it and ask for more?
Please don't get all defensive (and it isn't necessary to print this out to highlight or anything) I am just trying to make sense of all this. |

Make sense of this; it sounds like you have a personal relationship with the one in question here. It looks like this has hit a nerve for you little fellow, or else you would be able to figure it out. I don't think anyone is obsessed with the guy, other than you possibly. |

Again, you are avoiding answering my questions. I have never posted any comments about this person. However, I bet if I looked at your past comments there would be a long list of comments you have posted about him. I am just asking why you are so interested in him and what he has to say. As I stated, I once read less than a paragraph of something he wrote and stopped because it was of no interest to me. Yet, he can get people like you going on page after page. You claim he is such a minion but look at the obvious influence on your actions that he has. Is it any wonder he continues to post here. A single comment from him gets people like you rambling on for pages. Instead of trying to brush me off, why don't you just confess what it is about this man that intrigues you enough to print out his writing and make it the first thing you read in the morning? Is that so difficult. Please, just help me understand. There must be a reason why this man can stir up such strong emotions in you and others (usually younger men) with his words. What is the common thread that gets you all to cling together so tightly in face of the threat of this man's words. Jealousy? Lust? These are just speculations of course.
One more question.
Do your loins get moist when you read this man's writing? |

He gets published a lot in Korean media. He has the potential to be an unelected spokesperson for ESL teachers in Korea. Don't you want to know what kind of freak is speaking for you to the Korean public?
You sometimes enjoy the mindlessness that is Dave's. I'm not allowed to enjoy it over coffee? |

No, I am referring to the inner thigh becoming moist. If you take note of when you become sexually aroused your loins sometimes become moist. Your balls will generally only sweat from a good workout or the actual act of intense sexual intercourse...arousal alone is insufficient to get the boys moistened.

So what? Michael Breen gets published a lot in the Korea Times and wrote a popular book about Koreans. Does he represent all expats in Korea? Really, you should all attend a self esteem development class together instead of wasting valuable time verbally assaulting this poor man. |

Or all of the above. Or, trying to find out why all of you are so threatened by by some guy who can't even write. So far I a have gotten one explanation which sounds a lot like jealousy. "He gets a lot of coverage by the Korean press." Whaaaa! Whaaaa! Otherwise all I have heard is defensiveness.
Maybe you just don't know what your attraction to this man is. I guess that is how little piss ants end up being followers. You get led around by people who know how to push your buttons and lead you on an emotional leash. Which is clearly what this guy gets off on and does well enough to get all your little panties all bunched up your cracks every time he puts pencil to paper.
Keep up the good work Steve. |

I wish I could say I am surprised someone from Korea's ESL community knows who Steve whatever his name is but doesn't know who Michael Breen is but I am not surprised at all to be honest.
Maybe if you all tried to open your minds a bit to see that you are a part of a bigger community while in Korea (yes...you are a part of the general community during your time in Korea whether you choose to believe it or not) people like Steve would seem as trivial as they really are.
To answer your question, his last article appeared in the Korea Times two days ago. Something tells me he holds a bit more clout with the average Korean than Steve what's his name. Also, a hell of a lot more entertaining of a writer.
