I would like to know which Indian restaurant will best satisfy my unholy craving for lamb/chicken tikka massala???

Failing that a good chicken Madras would do....

If you have the desire and do not live in Seoul, you could easily make a variety of Indian dishes yourself after a stop at Hannam Market.

Naan is simple to make as well.

But Austin, some people just don't like doing dishes.

...and some people do not like paying 40,000 for something they could easily do for 10,000, especially when they are seeking to satisfy a craving.

Canuckistan,

I did not realize suggesting "to cook" was so outrageous.

Do people not enjoy cooking in your country?

Moderuckistan,

Austin, I don't get it. Why are you bringing this poster's being a moderator into the discussion? It seems irrelevant and inappropriate to me.

To address the OP: I wouldn't call it the *best* Indian food, but very good Indian eats at a reasonable price can be found at Ganga in Itaewon, up the street, past the police station on the Burger King side (it's on the 2nd level). You can eat well and make it out of there for under 20,000w including beer.

Sorry, but I was trying to be helpful with the advice I posted to the OP.

I just did not see the need for a moderator to make such a comment and make reference to me (the history is rancorous).

Best Indian I found in Seoul was called the Taj Mahal and is opposite the King Bar.

I recommend "Durga" on Jongno, a second-floor restaurant a little west of that building that's variously called the Millenium Building, Jongno Tower, or the (former) National Tax Service Building.
