My friend recently opened a sandwich/bakery/coffee shop in Ilsan and I want you guys to come check it out. It's at the La Festa Mall near Starbucks at the JungBalSan train station. It's called Organic Bakery Cafe and everything's pretty good. The owner's name is Jae and he speaks English pretty fluently. (except with an accent)

Thanks.

This ought to transform the social scene in Ilsan.

Sandwiches. Things are looking up!

How does it compare to the Subway a block away?

I've been to a number of sandwich shops and I haven't found better. But, given that I live nearby, I'll probably end up trying it out one day.

As for the social scene changing...well I've been looking for a good hangout in Ilsan, but didn't really have a sandwich shop in mind. Unless of course they sell vast quantities of booze at discounted prices....mention that to your friend Very Happy

I haven't tried Subway in Korea actually, only U.S. and Canada. I never thought it was that great. The steak and cheese there was alright. All the sandwiches here are pretty good. Stop on by if you're closeby and bored. Thanks!
