if its an international flight korean air usually has at least one western style option, beef, chicken or fish. Its almost the same that you would get on any other airline. If you are on a longer flight they sometimes have a korean option like bibimbap too. You dont have to pay. On domestic flights I think it is just snacks, no hot meals. |

Yeah no doubt- that is why I would pay for something off a menu that would be better than the regular muck they serve. |

I was happy with Korean Air when I flew Seattle to Incheon last summer. I had a beef stroganoff and they even served me wine with it (food included with ticket). The flight attendants are dressed nicely and are all young and polite. The seat in front of you will have a touchscreen that will play videos, music, tv shows, flight map, and games. |

I may be wrong, but I think Korean Air is "famous" for always having bi-bim-bap as an option. I could be confusing this with Asiana, who certainly through in some bi-bim-baps occasionally. Anyway, whichever you fly, you can probably count on "Korean style rice with vegetables" ("you mean 'bi-bim-bap'?") as one of your options. They'll give you a little toothpaste size red sauce to load on and make it edible. |
