I was wondering if anyone knew how to go about finding a place in Heyhwa/Sungshin Women's Uni/Hansung Uni area without speaking korea lol?
any help would be greatly appreciated!

st02wy, bad idea to post your email address on this website.
To find a place anywhere, here's the best way to go about it:
Travel (walk, bike, etc.) around the area you want to live in.
Write down the numbers of the budongsans (real estate offices) in that area.
Have a Korean-speaker call an inquire about what you want that fits your price range. Knowing the amount of deposit and monthly rent you can pay is crucial.
Then, go into the places that have apts. and check them out.
Or, have the Korean-speaker go with you to the places instead of writing them down, but that makes the K-speaker do more work.
If you have an employer that is willing to help you, or a good Korean friend, let the budongsan know a Korean can be on the lease. Many won't deal with foreigners because we can't eat spicy foods. |
