Go to Coex Mall or Dongdaemun...What strikes me as funny is that I never see anyone in Korea wearing rain boots except kids. And Korea is a place where rain comes a lot, even in fall and winter. |

I am LOVING my rain boots these days. Best purchase ever (got them back home this past winter). You're absolutely right, princess, I never see a single adult other than myself wearing them. And maybe to others I look like a kid, grinning as I splash through puddles and watch the poor ladies slip, slide, and skitter in their heels in this weather. Even the young military guys stationed outside Yongsan base have to pick their way around puddles through which I stride with ease.
Sorry if I sound smug. I'm just loving these dang boots. Warm, dry feet in all this rain is just one of those simple pleasures. |

Back home I had a pair I wore all the time.
Here they don't seem too popular. However, I was at Pentaport today and I to buy a pair (12$). They're not super cute, but they're practical. They're navy, the kind that fishermen wear, but shorter and 'girlier'.
I'd order them from eBay or something. I've also seen them in Myeong Dong, but $$$.
I do want a cute pair with a buckle and a funky design. |

I saw a young 20 something female wearing pink Wellies in Seoul a few days ago. I guess in only remember because i hadn't seen an adult wear them before. |

haha I was with my Korean friend the other day helping her look for the exact same thing!(her mom wears them). Eventually found some in Namdaemum market but hardly much choice on offer but they were cheap. 10,000 won for the plain color ones. Snazzy design ones (in Korean eyes) were 15,000 won but very few and far between.
Couldn`t find any in Myeongdong or Dongdaemun |

i got mine in sinchon? but i cant remember where. was near a univesity. last year i did see some in doota but they were expensive. |
