You're simply not reading very carefully. Here's the statement the press office sent to the media. The press office is not the ALF, and they say in the statement that they've received no communiques from anyone. So there's no way of knowing who carried out the alleged actions, what exactly happened, what the motive was, or whether there was ever any intention of calling it an ALF action. There's not enough information to answer those questions.

Quote:
...the Animal Liberation Front called the attacks a "necessary" act, just like those who fought against civil rights injustices. Spokesman Dr Jerry Vlasak showed no remorse for the family or children who were targeted.

"If their father is willing to continue risking his livelihood in order to continue chopping up animals in a laboratory than his children are old enough to recognise the consequences," said Vlasak, a former animal researcher, who is now a trauma surgeon.

"This guy knows what he is doing. He knows that every day that he goes into the laboratory and hurts animals that it is unreasonable not to expect consequences."

I'm sure they had nothing to do with it, naive bramble.

Did you read what I wrote? I didn't say they had nothing to do with it ... I said there's no way of knowing what happened because media reports are unreliable. I hate the illiteracy that passes for conversation here on these boards ...

You're saying the ALF and the ALPO are totally unrelated? Don't you follow the goings on of your "movement"? Anyways, the ALF is merely a rag-tag bunch of violent undergrad minions and their delusional icons. A leaderless terrorist organization.

I wonder if any insects were harmed... Would be a pity.

Yes, sad, I suppose.

Then, shall we assume that you have close, personal contacts/relations with the terrorist organization that lends you towards a deeper, more authentic understanding of the people, and their agenda? If not, you're merely relying on what you read on the internet as well. No?

So you are basically saying that all of the news reports in all th newspapers and all of the TV news channels cannot be trusted because they are all simultaneously (and maliciously) colluding by scapegoating a noble, innocent, peace-loving animal rights organization like ALF?

Who do we turn to then for the "truth," indymedia? Laughing
