If you're REALLY into the music/action games, wait for GH4 and get the whole set with drums, mic, etc.
Yongsan carries GH3 but I've never seen GH2 there.
I got both from:
www.play-asia.com
at around 100,000 won each, including the guitars. |

i got a wii in youngsan cost about 210k then got it chipped for 100k then all games were 10k each, paid an extra 30k for a guitar.
best way to do it, might be difficult to send it home etc, i imagine i would be able to shift all that pritty easy before i go.
havnt really played any other games since i got it, guitar hero 3 is all iv played, amazing game, plan on getting the aerosmith one soon, but since getting the game i cant find the motivation to do anything other than chill out playing it. |

Rock band is 100 times better than Guitar Hero. I have both, and I never play GH3. If I were you, I would wait for Rock Band 2 to come out. I think it comes out in the States in late fall this year. Not sure about Korea though...
ds_fan: Can you still play online with a chipped Wii? If you have your Wii hooked up to the internet then they'll detect the chip and brick your Wii, rendering it useless! You probably already know this though... |

no i didnt know that, thanks for letting me know, i havnt played it online yet, was going to read about this first, you 100percent sure? I didnt buy it for online gaming anyway, from what i have heard nintendo isnt really number 1 as far as online gaming goes, much as i do enjoy playing online. Guitar hero isnt really an online one anyway. morals aside, wouldnt you rather download and burn the games than spend a fortune on them? any other negative things about wii chips, lifespan etc? Just curious. once i can drag myself away from guitar hero im going to download several more games, any reccomendations?
on my list are worms wii darts paper mario |

Not much in the Wii games department. That's why I traded mine in for an Xbox 360. If you like GH3, then you will love Rock Band. Some people have a hard time getting used to the guitar, but I actually prefer the RB guitar over the GH3 guitar. Plus, you can sing and play drums (if you buy the drum kit). When RBII comes out, they're going to have a real drum kit that you can buy for it. Check websites such as IGN.com, and Videogames.com.
I heard that if you turn off updates on the Wii then they can't detect it. But I'm not sure. I'll get back to you. |
