It cracks me when people on here try to emphasize how handsome they are in some of their posts. Can't remember any names, but came across at least 3 people on this board trying to overemphasize it lol

Dude, you guys don't understand how handsome I am. Not only do I look good on the outside, but Koreans can see my inner beauty as well. This combo pretty much raises my 'handsome factor' to at least 12/10.

And I didn't even shave, shower or comb my hair today!
Ryan

P.S. Best part... it's 100% true.

Honestly,

You cannot be that handsome if you need to ask this question.

As all beautiful people know... you will be treated well. It doesn't matter how obnoxious or incompetent we are... People will overlook a lot of what we do as good intentions. SO like anyone... abuse it.

And don't worry Korea is just like anywhere else. IT matters

All the posts have gone downhill since the first reply. You are such a bummer.

I noticed there have been a couple threads on what it's like to be overweight in Korea.

What about being handsome and trim? What has been your experience? Do people treat you better than back home?

Send us some photos and I'll hand them out among my students. We'll rate you out of ten.

Oh I'm not handsome. I'm a bucket of yuck. I just want to hear some funny stories about how looks effect ones life in Korea.

For example, has anyone ever had a young blonde and beautiful coworker who would do everything wrong in class yet would only receive praise at the hagwon?

I top you then. I'm a bucket of yuck sprinkled with desicated dog poo.

Yep, it's a very appearance obsessed society and I'm sure hagwon management gives their better looking teachers a lot of leeway.

Who was the guy who put up the post about Koreans' ideal teacher? I think "Jason Teacher" was his name. It was pretty funny.

Did I forget to mention how awesome I am?

Went on 2 dates today, beat that! Both super hot and super cool.

Oh it's sweet being this handsome.

Most of my female friends are smoking hot. Can't beat the combo of having incredibly pretty female friends to hang out with and a long line of ridiculously cute and again HOT girls waiting to go out with me.

And again, the best part is. it's 100% true.

Seriously, you guys should be nice to M-su. I too know what its like to carry the burden of true beauty. Today some paparazzi mistook me for Megan Fox and chased me around trying to ask me questions about the new Transformers movie. Then, two modeling agents saw me at the same time and tried to recruit me for runway modeling. They ended up fighting to the death!

100% true.

Funny, but I ran into an old mate at the pub the other night. He is a handsome lad, one would almost say model material. We started talking about the dating scene and he quipped how he hadn't gotten laid that often here, despite what his friends had told him. I guess the moral of the story is that you have to have some dating smarts about you, too.

Yeah, being trim and handsome has been a huge problem for me, living here in Korea. Children flock to me like I'm rock star, and I get way too many phones calls from hot women.

How to deal with this problem?

I've started on a strict dunken donuts Hite Prime (the big bottles) diet. If Michael Phelps can consume 12,000 calories in a day why can't I. And no, I ain't going swimming.
