Has any one seen cat food at Costco?
I went there last week, and they were sold out. I called this week, and they said they had none.
If any one heads over to any of the following Costco's, and you see some, kindly post here.

Whats the fixation with Costco?
Good quality catfood is widely available through pet supply stores & vet clinics. |

I've been paying 15000 won for a 4lb bag of Science Diet from my vet.
How does Costco compare? |

Larger quantities, cheaper prices. That's my fixation with Cat Food at Costco.
I think the last bag we bought lasted us about 3 months (we still have a bit left, but it won't last till the end of the week).
If anyone sees it at Costco, kindly let me know in which one you saw it. |

Even better than going out and buying it on your own:
www.catrep.co.kr
I have enough cat food and litter for months delivered to my door free of charge. It's worth it to have a Korean friend/co-worker help you order. I hated lugging home food/litter. It's a great site. They have every brand. |

Fair enough -- some pretty big price differences. I notice on sistersarah's site though that premium brands (& litter too) run comparable to what I'm paying my vet.
I dont mind springing extra for whats best for my critters. Purina Proplan was the only dry food available in Sokcho for years (except for some cheap Chinese stuff) but when I got a chance to wean them over to Science Diet I saw an almost immediate improvement in their health -- nicer coats, more energy, happier demeanor.
I'd also be dubious about feeding them from a container thats been open for weeks or months. I can smell the freshness of a newly opened bag & so can my cats.
Local shops have offered to deliver to my door but they're handy enough & I dont mind the bit of lugging. |

Really? I tried to get my cat on Science Diet, but she didn't like it. She loooves ProPlan, so that's what she gets.
Oh, and when I said that I order enough food for months, I meant that I order three or four 1.8 kg tubs of food, so there's a fresh one opened every month or so....You can get the giant bags of food, but I agree that the smaller containers are better to keep freshness. |
