I'm close to the end of contract and looking to tie up any loose ends.

I remember reading a post that contained the Korean for something called a contract completion certificate. I may be wrong on the exact terminology.

Could one of the many kind people on the board refresh my memory for me? I've had a search but 237 pages came back, and I've checked the FAQs.

Thanks

I think it's called a certificate of employment. On the last day of school ask for one, your school will stamp it, it should state your name, how long you worked at the school and what your responsibilities were.

It'll cost you a small amount too.

Thank you FTU. 'Certificate of Employment', I'll ask for that. What I would ideally like is the Han gul characters if anyone has the time or patience to write it out.

FromtheUK. How do you know that it will/may cost me?

And I see that things are going better than normal for you at your place of employment, yes? All the best.

Your school should have the form, mine already had one, they downloaded it from somewhere, I think.

When I thought about leaving my school I asked about the certificate of employment. They said it would cost me some money for the school stamp, not much, but a charge from the admin centre at my school.

My school situation is stable, it's ok. Laughing
