This is a joke, right? More like a carrot to keep voters eyes on McCain's campaign. (gonna be hard to top the Rock Show in Denver this week)
She's been a governor for two years, and was only in local politics before that. Now who wants to talk about the experience of the person a heart beat away? |

No, Joo. Obama has more political experience than even (possibly our greatest) President Lincoln who had eight years in the Illinois STATE legislature and one term (2 yrs) as a member of the United States House of Representatives.
Can't wait to see what kind of example she would set on Child Care issues--her 5th was born in May.
hint: Dr. Laura isn't going to like it. |

Breaking News: McCain chooses Alaska Gov. Palin for VP - AP
Apparently a ploy to scoop up the broken-hearted Hillary supporters. |

This is called pandering to the women in a desperate hope to revive his campaign. She brings a whopping 3 electoral votes, so is on a par with Biden there.
If Obama drops dead, Biden could slide in and command confidence right away. If McCain keels over, we'd have an untested person in the White House. This is not a nail in the Republican coffin, this is a spike. A big iron railroad spike.
In McCain's first great decision on the national stage, he fumbled. McCain looks desperate. He looks like he is grovelling for the women's vote.
PANDER!!!
This is laughable. And it is a sign that from now on, at least one of the 4 presidential/VeeP candidates will be an ethnic minority or a woman. Welcome to the world of affirmative action at the top. |
