I just went to two pharmacies and got the dreaded blank stare concerning expectorant.
I did my research on this forum and found the local expectorant is called 세다코프 and contains guaifenesin as active ingredient. Still got the "no have" sign from the pharmacists and their computers.
I know expectorant is common outside North America, I have gotten it before in Thailand and Indonesia; both times easily at the first pharmacy on the corner. Just another of those strange things that doesn't exist here?
Anyone know another name for expectorant here in Korea?
Thanks, Drew |

Just go to a doctor and ask for a prescription for one of the following -
Tyloxapol - Potassium iodide - Guaifenesin - Ipecacuanha - Althea root - Senega - Antimony pentasulfide - Creosote - Guaiacolsulfonate - Levoverbenone |
