Google Chrome uses Webkit, so it's compliant with whatever webkit is compliant with. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebKit

Using the text box on here is weird. Like trying going back and changing a word, it's like it doesn't update. Very strange behavior as I type this message in Chrome right now. At first I thought I had my keyboard mode to overwrite letters instead of inserting them.

anyone else having this problem?

Yeah, me too. After about the second time though I noticed that it doesn't disappear, just takes a moment or two to show up.

All the pages went blank once too though, but the speed alone is making it really addictive. I think this'll be the first Google product to break into the Korean market because Korean pages that take forever to load now (Naver weather for example) are a breeze with this. I could see a lot of Koreans (oh, the K just disappeared there for a second) switching over to Chrome and using IE as a backup for banking and whatnot.

Dave's runs much quicker on Chrome.

I think I might leave Firefox; didn't think i'd be saying that.

You guys did read the EULA of Chrome..

Anything you type or input into Chrome is subject to being GOOGLE's property..

I like Google but they are turning into a Microsoft. (They are starting to go a bit to far.)

I didn't care much for it.. I used it and its a great novelty but its a Google product.. Its always going to be a Beta... Google = Release often = Annoy constantly. Gmail has been in Beta for ages. You still can't create folders.

Very interesting.

Likes:
Seems fast
Fairly slick

Dislikes:
Google gathering more info on me
Seems buggy while typing
No FF-like plugins, at least yet

I can't live without adblock plus and firegestures, so I won't be switching, but will definitely keep an eye on this.

I just caught the comics about Chrome. Pretty damned funny.

I got that problem too. Happens when I erase text.

One thing I hate about chrome is there is no "home" button to click. I don't want to open a new tab. I want to go to my homepage in the tab I am looking at now.

Also, I've found it to be buggy when I scroll.

All in all, not bad for a Beta release.

Looks like Google will be changing the EULA.. Lots of people were pissed with the terms of it.

There is a "home" button. You have to go into options. Took me a bit to find it too. Click on the wrench.

Any word if google is planning on having ad-on extensions like with firefox? That's really the only thing chrome is missing.

How do you change the default search? All my search results now keep going to the korean google site.

It's good (I'm using it now), but it has some harsh errors that will keep me from using it regularly. I guess it's still a beta.

The most glaring bug is actually type based. I can't move the cursor back in text and still keep my formatting. Very frustrating. Having dysfunctional text typing software is akin to forgetting to implement a search option.

They have now completely changed this; I think it was either a try-on or mistake.

11.1 now reads:

11.1 You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services.

That's now the entirety of section 11.
