The recruiting company got my CBC but never told me it wasn't "officially" stamped. They said I have to go to the US Embassy and sign an affidavit.

I just wanted to confirm that this is acceptable and if I should print out my own version of an affidavit or if it's not worth it and they will have one for me to fill out when I go there.

Also, does anyone know how much this will cost?

You definitely need to search the forums before you post. Try Google 'Advanced Search'.

Thanks for the scolding.

Anyway, for folks who care, they have forms there. Just bring your criminal background check, passport, and when I went they asked for another form of ID like ARC card. They kept that in the search room.

(If the information I have provided above is already mentioned on this forum, then I'll bend over take my punishment Smile if duely needed.)
