My young jindogae Claire must find a new home. My circumstances have changed and I am no longer able to keep her. She is very sweet and loyal. I honestly don't need the lecture about being a responsible pet owner, so please only reply/pm if it is helpful. |

If you were a responsible pet owner, you wouldn't be in this situation. |

Let me guess, you're a single foreign woman and you got a dog in Korea as a surrogate boyfriend?
I'm Joking (but seriously this happens a lot here). |

If no foreigner takes her, then you could ask Koreans you know for help in finding her a good home. It might be better to give her to a Korean since it's highly likely they will be staying in Korea for the entirety of the dogs life. If that's not an option, bring it to school and you will surely easily get rid of her there. LOL |

I'm sure the local pound will find a good restaurant for Claire. |

Hey now, I'm a woman with a dog. He's not really my surogate boyfriend though, more of a walking companion and trash eater, who is coming home with me when I leave.
To the OP, if nothing pops up here, try Craigslist Korea. That's sad you can't keep her, but best of luck to you! |

Then why do so many foreign women own dogs or cats here in Korea? |

Sad really sad...
I guess it shouldn't be "a pet is for life"
instead
"a pet is for life, unless my situation changes"
I hope you never are able to have the companionship of a pet again in your life.. and maybe.. just maybe you will be treated the same way by someone you love. |

i almost choked on my cookie. let me guess - you dress your pet up in tiny clothes and think it truly "understands" you when you talk to it. ha! get a life. (i try not to post negative comments, but your reply is waaaay too outrageous for me to keep my mouth shut. i sincerely hope you're joking.) |

No big surprise from the majority of the responses so far. A couple of helpful ones and the rest useless.
For those of you that live in a perfect world where they are able to control all of the circumstances around themselves, Great for you! I don't live in that world, however.
For the boisintang comments, it has been done to death and never was funny or witty.
I honestly did not expect much more from this site. It is always the same old same old from the usual posters.
Thanks to anyone that does have something meaningful to post. |
