I bought guitar hero 3 with the wireless guitar from play asia in May. It cost me over 150 (US). I know it was over priced but I wanted it to get here fast...
Two weeks into playing the green button stopped working on the guitar. So I contacted play asia about a possible defect. They wrote back and told me to send the guitar in for testing. I sent it in June (paying the 18 dollars shipping cost myself)
Two weeks later, no reply. I contacted them again and they said they need a couple of weeks for testing.
One month later, Contacted them again...they said they are still testing the guitar and to be patience.
One (more) month later. I contacted them saying " yo where's my guitar its been two 1/2 months) They said someone would contact me soon
I WAS pissed so I wrote a very pissed off letter to them. I recieved one back saying " they can not test the guitar unless I now send them the game!!!!"
WTF!!!! How have they been 'testing' the guitar for the last two months and only now figured out they need the game.
I am going to call them and tell them if I send them the game that I want a FULL refund. I am sooo PISSED. I have never had such poor customer service in my life. I mean there was no need to lie about it.
ahhhh. I hope no one else has had the same problems... |

| Sorry that they're screwing you around. I've been lucky with the games that I've bought from them, but never really bought any big purchases like Guitar Hero or anything. That sounds like bs they are giving you about needing the game, geez they SELL the game, I'm sure they could use one of their copies to get it to work. |

| Sorry to hear from the people who've had a rough time with Play Asia. I've used them a few times over the last year and they've always been good. Sometimes, a little slow, but generally speaking they're good. Never had a problem with them, thankfully. |

| I find them to be very slow if using free delivery and they are a little expensive. The problem is there aren't many other options. |

I've had just the opposite experience as their free delivery has been 7 days exact when I get the shipping out message Perhaps the exception was GTA IV which simply took them longer to get than expected, but again when I finally did get the "your order has shipped" message it was 7 days spot on.
On a side note I have looked into yesasia (think that is the name) but they appear more expensive so I never bothered. Plus I like how you get a $5 coupon for the purchase of a next game, it helps a bit. |
