It's true. I was there this morning and Costco has Christmas gifts and items out and ready for you early birds.
Yes, Costco is open today and the only other thing worth noting is that Costco has large pumpkin pies for under 7,000 won. |

Not surprised, considering Korea doesn't celebrate Halloween and their Thanksgiving is over already. |

It was, well, shocking, to ride down the escalators and then see packs of candy canes and other Christmas stuff. |

Traditionally Christmas shopping begins the day after Thanksgiving. Yesterday was Korean Thanksgiving. What's the problem? |

In America, it's been getting earlier each year. 2 years ago, I seen Christmas go on display on October 1st. Now it's said to be the middle of September and that would explain why Costco is doing it, because Costco is American. |

I seen?
I saw Christmas decorations at the Ilsan Costco last weekend. I had to do a double-take as well. |

Back in Canada a major retailer started displaying its Halloween merchandise (prominently!) the last week of July. I went in three times this August and people were actually buying the stuff! 35 C in the middle of summer and people were planning for the last night in October. |

Koreans were buying the Christmas stuff at Costco, too. |

Buying candy in September means candy gets eaten in September. |
