i want to jailbreak my iPod touch, and I want to backup all the songs on it.
Anyone have experience with a good software/app to do it? |

I've had the same dilemma... was solved smoothly with Copytrans. It cost about 20 bucks, but it was well worth it.

I just thought I'd ask if you have upgraded your iTunes to version 8. If you have, it won't let you jailbreak.
'ziphone' has an easy to use app to do this, but many report that 'iliberty' is more reliable.
The third would be 'pwnage'.
There are tons of tutorial if you google "jailbreak 1.1.4 touch windows" |

Not true. Use one of the apps by iphone-dev team, they work. |

| Sorry, what I meant was that iTunes 8 won't let you downgrade the ipod firmware. |
