|
|
| What would be the best software to use to rip my DVDs to a hard drive? I'm going home for a short vacation and i'd like to take all my DVDs back there and leave them as they're taking up space. Any suggestions? |

dvd decrypter.
but this will give u the WHOLE dvd, subs, extras etc etc. Also the file size will be around 4-5GB for each movie.
If you want to encode down to 700MB files your going to need to do more. |

You can start with this tutorial. It demonstrates how to rip a DVD to your HDD using Magic DVD Ripper.
In my experience, you may also need AnyDVD if the DVD you want to rip is copy-protected.
I'm sure there are easier ways out there, but this is what worked for me! |

| I like Elaborate Bytes Clone DVD. It will let you remove parts of the DVD but keep all menus intact. It does not remove any copy protection however. |
