I am wondering where is a good supermarket in Seoul to buy pre-made sandwiches and salads and things like that? Kind of like the pre-made Bennigan's food at GS 25 but not as expensive. Thanks. |

If you go to the basement of any department store you can buy packaged meals 'to go' there. I used to buy salads from Lotte everyday, and they had a great variety with different ingredients and dressings (my fav was broccoli, spinach, and shrimp with Italian dressing).
At different booths they also have sandwiches, fruit smoothies, crepes, etcetera. Check it out sometime. |

A lot of the sandwiches in Dept. Stores are too weird. You buy what you think is a cheese and ham then taste apple, 1000 island dressing, and radish!! And the bread isn't so good either.
I'd say Tous Les Jours has the best easily available sandwiches in Korea. |

Try the basement of Shinsegae department store at Express Bus Terminal (if you're in Seoul). |
