As the title says, what song or musical piece always seems to lift your spirits?

I love some classical pieces, but I would say they tend to calm me more than cheer me, though some put a smile on my face.
Some of that fun '80s pop makes me smile too, but the song that always makes me smile is "You Better You Bet." Fun tune with some pretty odd lyrics.

Try out my favorite songs in one of my favorite genres of music. This might be new to many of you, but please be open minded. I started appreciating emotion inducing trance from living in Germany about 10 years ago, but I won't do ecstasy.

Walhalla [Armin Van Buuren's Rising Star Mix] - Gouryella

Gouryella (DJ Tiesto and Ferry Corsten) - Tenshi

Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Solar Stone Atlantis Mix)

Trance video 004 (Rank 1 - Breathing)

ATB - The Chosen One

ATB - Long Way Home

Rank 1 - Airwave

Bali traditional music and sights

Hong Kong, Temple traditional music and sights

NM PRESENTS PICTURES MIXES: TRANCE

I many more feel good favorites. Too many to list. Emotion inducing Trance music on my IPOD 80GB classic inspires me. I also like a lot of Buddha Bar series too.

It probably will come as no surprise that there is one particular piece that always brings a smile to old Gollywog's face:

I think that 7 year old does a really cool job!

Why is it that the adults want to turn this into a musical equivalent of a NASCAR race? Really wrecks it.

Also like the Bream and Williams version.

Rimsky-Korsakov's Capriccio Espagnol. Never get tired of it. The closest I've come to frolicking in adult life has been listening to this.

And Tenacious D of course. Electric dynamite, pure joy.

Anything with Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong together. On their own, they're both great, but together, wow.

I like "They Must be Giants". They cheer me up. Also, watching clips of Adam Sandler singing "I feel pretty". That cracks me up.
Anyone else?

Singing "If you're happy and you know it" with first one son, and now the other.

If you're happy and you know it,
pass some gas. poot poot.
etc...

If you're happy and you know it,
crap your diaper. (sound effects)

etc...

"clap your hands" is boring.
