My Dave's internet link has been excruciatingly slow tonight. I put my computer into standby for an hour and came back.

When I tried loging in, the field showed a long list of other Dave's users' IDs. I tried one of them, but the password did not pop up. I immediately shut down that browser.

I am logged in on a different browser, which didn't show any extra IDs.

When I reopened my other browser, the extra IDs did not show this time.

Could there be something fishy going on when the pages take 10 minutes to load?

Did others have slow loading tonight? Could it be my ISP -- KT?

And it might be nothing, but I had a virus the other day, the first time in months. Don't know if it is related. My virus protection software was able to delete it.

Dave's seems to slow down for like an hour or so every night. It is a pain if you hit that time. Sometimes when I log in it even tells me my user name is in active. When I come back later it is fine.

This site is a joke. They haven't even allowed new registrations in the last couple of months. What kind of forum doesn't allow new members to join? I know several newbies who want to get accounts, but can't register.
I've never seen such a neglected site.

What ticks me off is that you have to wait for like 10 or more seconds when entering/exiting "View your posts." That's just fkg retarded.

It was very slow for about an hour and a half last night. It's been happening a lot lately.

For me, the front page comes up darker than usual. When that happens, I know I'll have trouble. It will take forever for a new page to show and as often as not, I'll get the white page saying it's unable to work.

Dave's slow like clockwork at 9pm every night fo about 20mins. Last night it was slow/unworkable for about 2 hours.

I don't frequent many other sites, but the last time I looked at one in particular, I was surprised to see dozens of former ID's I recognize online there. I don't have an account there, myself.

No new registrations + people leaving for other sites like that = ?

I would like to see this site change to a more updated BBS format. Things like the ability to get an avatar after earning it somehow, and more size control of avatars, would be a great benefit. Words can be filtered more easily, as well.
