Where is the market and what's the name?
How much should i expect to pay for a 4-5G player?
ditto for 2-3?

i don't know anything about these things, they work only with USB right? Or can you record in "not digital" (the name escapes me).

Technomart? Yongsan?

TM is @ GangByun station, you can walk right under it when you get off. It's on the green line just on the north bank of the Han River.

Technomart is good, but I recommend having a Korean speaking buddy you're not confident in your own ability. There are some wily retail dudes, so do your research and get some good deals with extra stuff like cases or spare batteries.

Prices are quite competitive, and there are a wide range of solid state players.

However, the prevalence of solid state players means that the sizes you are after (4-5gigs) are pretty hard to find. I was there today and couldn't find any at all.

iRiver makes a range of iPod-esque HD players, but they cost a pretty penny.

Good luck.

jae.
