So I'm tossing up between these as my next game to get:
Gears of War
COD 4 Modern warfare
Halo 3
To me, COD looks awesome. Are there any others I missed? |

I like Gears of War. I had a lot of fun with that--especially the multiplayer.
COD4 has a riveting Single Player campaign but it only takes five or so hours to complete and the multiplayer is pants compared to GOW. Gears of War had the greatest multiplayer I've played in a long time. |

Yes I heard about the short single player in COD4, but it looks sweet. Did you think Gears of War was very difficult? I read it's pretty hard. |

When I had an Xbox360, I beat it on all difficulties. It's definitely not hard on the easier difficulties--it just takes some getting used to. The great thing is being able to hop on Live and have a random player jump in your game to help you out. Not sure if that'll happen in Korea, but I remember I beat all the campaign missions co-operatively.
COD4 is sweet, don't get me wrong. It's a kick ass game. I just think GOW is more well-rounded. Both have great replay value.
On the GOW side of the fence, GOW2 is coming out in Q1 2009 (I think) so if you want to get into it now is the time. |

One more question if I may. If I want HDMI I must buy the more expensive elite 360?
They all have digital optial out right? |

Actually I think that it's coming out in November last time I checked, unless it has been pushed back. The first one was fun, but I didn't play the multi-player that much. |

i have the standard 20gig model, it has HDMI. |
