As we all know, Crown J is a douche. More specifically, he's a phony wannabe who tries too hard. (He reminds me of the song by the Offspring, "Pretty Fly (For a White Guy).")
In an attempt to get some "street cred," he filmed a music video in Atlanta. Did he go to the areas of Atlanta known for hip-hop? Hell no. He basically went to the shopping malls. I'm sure that, in his own mind, he proved to the world that he's a badass gangsta. It was probably a smart move, though. If he had gone downtown and tried his lame shtick, he would have gotten a downtown beatdown. Give it up, Crown J. You're still a douche.

When I see Crown J blinged out and dressed like 50 Cent...I actually seeth. It's not healthy to hate someone as much as I hate him. It's so obvious that a few years ago he was in high school in Atlanta with a 4.0, taking as many AP classes as he could, and spending all day Sunday with his Korean church...like all good lil Kyopo boys.
I wouldn't hate him so much if he was talented. Or handsome. Or if there was some other reason why he is famous other than him selling himself as a "gangsta" to Koreans who don't know any better.
I only pray that one day he will meet a real gangsta. Please, please let that happen. Surely the bad ass LA Kyopo's over here must hate him right? |

Crown J is just a puppet of the Korean music industry.
I'm sure he would dress up like Bugs Bunny if the mangers/agents told him to. |

That's what "the rap game" is all about. Guys with no talent going out and getting rich off of the hip-hop image. It's got nothing to do with talent, it's just all about luck and who can aggressively market themselves and rise to the top. The quality of the rap isn't too important these days.
It works because there are idiot hip-hop fans who will love anything that they put out there, no matter how bad it is. Hip hop music is like a religion that people won't stop supporting, no matter how silly it gets.
Most popular American rappers out there right now suck too. Just look at Lil Wayne and all these others. Crap! |

In the end the dude is making more money than most of us here and pulling in much better tail.
So I'm not going to hate on him too much.
Yeah, he's fake, but let me tell you, much of the hip hop industry is make of fake thugs and wannabe gangsters. And this is not only relegated to caucasian and other nonblack rappers.
I think that the only people who can truely call out this Crown J guy are real thugs. Not suburban breed, University education, caucasian males like Troll Bait and Ruraljuror and myself. |

Being a fake has got to be hell to go through. At night when he takes off his cap and goes to sleep, I am sure his mind is full of sadness because he knows he is just a wanna be gangster. There are limits to his life, for example, he must stay far away from the real people he is trying to imitate. If they even get close to him they will either laugh, or want to fight him. take off the cap, the shades, the signs and the tshirt and what you have is just another insecure gyopo who is looking for an identity : |
