I almost tackled the guy. As I approached he let her go, then slapped her face. I ALMOST bum rushed the dude...maybe I should have. I felt I should man up and do it but the girl wasn't injured and I didn't know if it would cause an international incident

This is why I love Dave's.... sometimes the comedy just writes itself...

So I went and banged on the door and told him to stop. I didnt know he spoke English but after I said I would kick his ass if he hit her again he said sorry in perfect English.

It is truly a burden being a white man in this society of savages...

A few weeks ago walking down the main street of my city I passed a skinny, young guy in a shiny suit who was busy slamming a girl (presumably his girlfriend) into the side of a phone booth while she screamed at him about something or other. It was only about 10pm and there were plenty of people walking past but nobody was batting an eyelid.
I must say it was the first time I had seen male-on-female violence in my almost four years here.
Looking on the bright side, at least if people are doing their domestic violence out in public it's less likely to get completely out of hand I suppose.

I've seen this kind of domestic violence in young korean boys that have immigrated to the US. They beat the living crap out of their girlfriends. The odd thing was, she was maddly in love with him... despite it.

Maybe it's how they show affection? SM? it's not that unheard of.

I'm suprised that no one has brought up the issue of blood money. Never get involved in a Korean domestic dispute. That is unless you want to be here for the next 4 years working off the 50,000,000 fine for the bruised wrist you gave the K-guy when you tried to help his damsel in distress who only started beating you for attacking her Bf.
