I actually have four questions that I wanted to ask and thought that one post would be better than four separate posts.

1.) Is there an optimal time of day to be available to teach private lessons or does it not really matter? My wife is an F-4 and would like to try and get some private lessons to earn extra money.

2.) My second question has to do with CDIs work hours, which seem to be M-F 4:00 to 10:00 and Sat 9:00 to 3:00. Are there any other institutions with similar schedules? Depending on what replies I get about question #2, my wife and I like the idea of working nights and having our days free.

3.) My third question has to do with hourly vs. salary wages. I am trying to put together a spread sheet to compare the differences. Can anyone provide me with the monetary/percentage values of the benefits that a salaried employee would receive over an hourly employee (health insurance, pension, difference in tax rate...etc)?

4.) Finally, does anyone know of ESL institutions that specialize in or have courses in business? While neither my wife nor I have any teaching experience, we have both been working in a professional environment for the last 5 years and would like to put these experiences to good use if at all possible.

I apologize for the lengthy post. Any advice that you could share would be greatly appreciated.

At CDI hourly works out better than salary as I found it common to get the maximum amount of hours there.
Overall middle to high school students make up most of the English market so if you teach privates you want to teach at night. That said, these privates aren't always easy to find if you don't speak Korean or have someone with connections (recruiter or friend). I loved working at CDI but it can be a lot of stress at times.
There are some privates that like business experience but as a whole I dont recall many places that actually recruit based on business experience.
