I am planning on coming to Korea in a few months. I am starting to get my paperwork together and have a question.

I have a BS degree and an MBA degree.
I attended 4 colleges in total to get these degrees.

Do I need sealed transcripts from all of them or only the two that issued my degrees?

Do I need copies of both my bachelors and masters degree or is my masters degree sufficient?

Thanks to anyone that has had a similar situation.

You will need to use your original diploma for your BS degree to get your E2 visa. You can leave your MBA at home. You will need sealed transcripts (2 sets to get your visa, and extras just in case ... ) from the University that issued your Bachelors Degree.

You will need sealed transcripts for every school you attended if that schools credits were used to get your BS. Just went through this myself.

I have a hard time believing you are in anyway associated with Tony Blair from England. Must English that I have met have a very good and intelligent sense of humor.

If the transcript from the college that issued your degree lists all the credits you had transferred from the other college, then you would only need that transcript.

For an E-2 visa, you only need the proof of completing your bachelors.

I have a BA and an MA and I have always had to submit BOTH diplomas for E-2 employment in Korea, as well as transcripts from the two universities I attended.

I have no idea whether immi will want to see transcripts from all four universities or not, but they will want to see BOTH diplomas and accompanying transcripts, at a minimum, if my experience is any indication.

Thanks to all. I guess I will just get started and spend the money to get them all. I got to thinking that even if Immigration only wants to see part of the package, the school or hiring boss may want to see all of them.

To make matters worse.... The school where I got my BS has changed names and my degrees and transcripts all have different names. Some have my full name, some have my initials etc. I have read that immigration wants them all to match so I may have to get the universitys to do name changes as well.

I have a B.Sc., but I started off at community college for financial reasons. I was awarded an A.A. after studying there for two years. I only submitted my transcripts from the school I transferred to. I clearly states they issued the degree.

I hope you're going to be working in a uni with those qualifications. You'd be wasted anywhere else. Otherwise try the Middle East! Sorry I know that's not at all helpful, just having a frustrating day at PS. Wink

I wish korea would get it that some people really want to do a good job.

Anyway lol, when I was coming here and consequently trolling all boards for info, it seems for the E2 they're interested in the graduate degree ie the BA or the BSC for transcripts, However, in my humble of experiences here so far, I'd say it's cheaper/easier to prepare it all before you come, JUST IN CASE some dimwit changes their mind while you're mid Atlantic.
