Of course that stats are only of those reported or actually dealth with by the police. They advocate 10 hours of sex education to deal the problem. I think it has more to due with the overall attitude toward women in the society?

On the other hand, sexual activity is on the increase, and sex crimes are only a byproduct of it. That'll be great in about ten years.

A very interesting article:

Who should teach kids about sex?

The JoongAng Daily
August 23, 2007
Quote:
A slew of sex crimes committed by teens in recent years has raised public awareness and anxiety about the quality of sex education provided by schools... Adding to the publics dismay was the fact the boys showed little remorse and did not seem to understand the severity of their crimes. One boy claimed that he merely wanted to copy scenes from a pornographic film hed seen on the Internet.
In other words, many kids are now getting their sex education from triple-X porn sites rather than their parents, peers or teachers.

How long before the Korean media attributes the increase in sex crimes among Korea's youth to Korean youths' exposure to foreign English teachers?
