I think its pretty funny and really unrealistic to the point of being surreal.
I saw this low budget 1980's film. It was set in Iteawon. The foreigners behaved really badly. They put their feet on the table in restaurants and
made out with girls in public places. The Korean men were really goony looking. It was really funny. Lots of Kinky sex

Let me guess. They had a scene where the foreigners didn't give up their seats to an old lady on a bus. Then they walked into their house without taking off their shoes.

No but there was a scene in which the foreigner puts his foot on a restaurant table. The odd thing is I've never even seen this back in Canada. Its considered pretty rude by an Nations standards.

There's a lot of stupid Korean people who don't question things they see on TV-they are in the 1945 time warp, what with that and the chronic spousal abuse.

Have a good time!

They should put me on Korean TV. I would tear their world asunder. I'd give them a REAL reason to hate white people.

With proper editing any one can look like a fool.
The magic of TV is created in the editing room. the filming itself is just a nuisance . . .

^ it's a good thing i read dave's. i was filmed teaching a game with another foreigner for a short segment on the news a while ago, but when they asked to interview us after, we both knew enough of the korean media to run for the hills.

In the 90's the German 한우 always was portrayed well I thought. Koreans and foreigners alike actually respected him.
