No, it's an immi requirement. Just get it done at the state level such as at highway patrol headquarters office, get it notarized at a notary public which is usually found at a bank, and then send it or visit your Secretary of State office at the capital for apostille. Better and quicker to do it all in person.

Now get your under employed butt back over here now.

You don't need the criminal record check Kentucker. You are married to a Korean, remember?
Or did I miss the divorce post.

Who else is beginning to think Kentucker's random bi-weekly posts are little more than trolling?

No one's going to pay my plane ticket without an F2 right now. I would have to go over there first to get one as I understand it.

Koreans do not want you if you have a DUI. Koreans are excellent drivers and they don't need foreigners like you messing up their traffic patterns.

Try submitting an address from a different state and a CBC from a different state. We need you back here, K4.

Looks like I will have to. My wife says she wants to be finished with our relationship. Apparently the stress of sleeping in all day and doing nothing has gotten to her.

Bread, Korea is a real alcoholic state of being where you're 3rd grade teacher might have a pot belly due to alcoholic liver. And Korea does have DUI checkpoints in many city centers late at night who get lots of people. It's not as serious of a crime as in America, but it costs some money. I had a Korean friend get popped last year, but it didn't stop him from driving although he had rich parents pay off the small 300,000 Won fine while he was going to college. Same for another friend in America.

The rich get off scott free, while the poor are heavily penalized for mistakes or boo boos, especially in America. I knew a guy at home who had 3 DUI's in 2 months and his rich daddy paid $10,000 to get him off, while another guy had 1 DUI and went to jail, got 5 years probation, and a huge fine he can't pay off since he's now unemployable so he's in trouble with the law for the rest of his life. It's really not fair. A small pot or beer offense can land you in hot water if you don't have the few thousand dollars to pay as soon as you get in trouble. This always feared me greatly about living in America since I was a teen due to being poor.

If you really want a job in Korea, establish an address in another state, get a state ID there, and get a CBC done.

A CRC is now required for ALL new visa applications and ALL visa renewals (unless the person has previously submitted a CRC to immigration).

I was joking. I thought that would have been obvious when I said "Koreans are excellent drivers" Laughing
