If he does, it will most likely be a case of him being completly unaware of the consequences. Koreans teaching privates are a very common occurance and thus wouldn't pay much attention to it.

NEVER tell anyone that you're doing privates. There's just no need for them to know. You have NOTHING to gain, and a lot (job, airfare, last paycheck, severance, visa, and a fine) to lose.

I'm not saying that all Koreans are snitches, but why on earth would you tell anyone other than your closest friends that you're breaking the law???

PS. There are people on this board who are very proud of the fact that they would not hesitate to snictch on people doing privates. Be careful.

I worked in a Korean company and ALL of my personall / off the cuff conversations with my male coworker who was the same age as I were made known to everyone in the team.

MANY Koreans are two-faced and should NEVER be trusted. Be very careful with what you say around anyone.
