It is not the Jews they hate us for helping, but the Zionists. Prior to the annexation of Palestine and creation of Israel, Jews and Arabs lived side by side in that area and interacted peaceably.

There has always been war between the Jews and the Muslim world. Why do you believe that there was peace before? Before the crusades?

I would say most Jews are Zionists.

I'm not too hip on Islam taking over the world as the dominating imperialistic super power. When I say Islam, I mean the collaboration of Islamic nations that appear to be centered around Dubai. As long as there's demand for oil, there will be Islam rising.

How do you think they'd treat us if they are in charge???

Kill us for helping the Jews. It has to be one of the reasons Oil went up to 4 bucks a barrel. The Islamic nations are testing our economies to see if we can withstand some economic warfare.

A friend works for the UN in Switzerland. The nation is a playground for the oil wealth of the middle east. They go up there to drink and score a blond wife. Sorry, but there is no way they're about to plan the destruction of all that.

What would the standard be if we had a one world currency?

It isn't workable. Even the euro might not be workable in the long run. Different economic situations will demand different currency arrangements.

If the world had one currency then that would negate the need for different currency situations wouldn't it? I"m not trying to argue, I'm trying to understand.

If there was 1 currency for the entire world it would mean erasing the debts of various countries and then establishing the set currency with a supply based upon the size of the population of the world and with a backing system that would see that it never slipped.

But, if there was one currency then it would be useless anyway since we're the only ones who would be using it.

Maybe. It really depends on the kind of currency regime being proposed. If it was our current system of central bank driven fiat, then the differences within various nations would demand different currency regimes. China has found that the ability to manipulate the value of a domestic currency to be very useful while a state like Canada benefits from the monetary austerity imposed by a floating currency. Singapore seems to do fairly well with a managed regime. It is really tough to say. My assumption is that there is simply to much variety in economic needs between nations for a single policy to work. The world is too messy.

Well we all know what to do with a mess eh?

If there was one currency than no country would have a national debt anymore... I don't think. The first thing you'd have to do would be to wipe out the currencies of the nations and set up one world bank. Base the Earth Dollar on WHATEVER cause it's pretty much not important since we're the only planet we know of that has money anyway.

What we need is to change the mind of the world... but how to get the majority of 6,000,000,000 people to agree to something.

I think the current crisis would be averted (or could have been) if people didn't all need to have everything there is.

There won't be an actual currency...it will all be electronic. You won't be able to buy or sell unless you have a chip implanted into your body that registers all of your transactions.

Please list the wars between Muslims and Jews between the years of 800 and 1947. If you can name just a couple, that would suffice. Thank you in advance.

And the witches will be in charge of the world bank? And you believe the world is 6,000 years old.

One thing that's killing the Europeans right now is they have a single currency, but a bunch of different governments, so it's hard for them to work together energetically to stem the crisis.

So a single currency for multiple governments is actually a bad idea if you're thinking about the current crisis.

That's only one negative consequence of having a single currency in Europe. European countries are also greatly benefitting from the streamlining that comes with a common currency.
