Hi
I am having some pretty severe computer issues as of late, mainly my computer cannot run anything aside from the net without shutting down. It isn't a virus. It's just that it doesn't seem to have the guts to do anything. I only bought the thing three months ago, the day before leaving for korea. And i can send it back to the manufacturer but... it will cost me a fortune in shipping and taxes... my boss is helping me look for a place today, but if there is anyone who knows where to go for foreign computer issues... i would be very apprectiative... dear god please help... im completely stressed over it, i use it for work, which includes recording english cd's.
So if you know of anyone, I'll put in a good word at the pearly gates alright.
Peace and Hit Tech Satisfaction

Where do you live?
What do you mean it just shuts down? Crash, blue screen, turns off brings up a counter that counts down, etc. |

What's the brand?
If it's a name brand you'll find an a/s center in either Yongsan or Technomart. |

Even if it's not a name brand, I'd take it to Yongsan anyway. I'm able to futz around in Korean Windows with success - I'm sure the guys there could trace the problem in your English machine without much trouble. |

Are you sure it isn't the loveme worm?
Sounds a lot like what it did to one of my systems when it first came out.
Did you patch windows with all updates?
Does it only do this when you are on the net? It could be another type of worm. Worms are NOT virus and thus VERY hard to scan for and catch.
