|
|
OK. So I have been trying to play WoW for about 3 weeks now. I had an old version on my computer and moved the files to a jump drive and it worked fine the first few times at the PC Bong. I don't have internet in my apt yet. After the first 2 times I kept getting this wierd error. So I download the normal 4 gig file from blizzards site and when I open the game I get the new opening for Lich King but its all in Korean!! The install and everything was in english though. Can anyone help me with this problem? Or does anyone have a full copy that I might be able to meet up with them and have them xfer it to my jump drive? Thanks folks.

I have the disks for both the trial version (which is just one dvd) and the original four disks that are used in the installation from when the game first came out. If you don't find anyone, I can help you out. I'm out here in Gangnam_gu of Seoul.
Let me know. |

First, look for anything that's indicating that your in Korea...there might be some lame server redirect.
Anyway, just go here: https://signup.worldofwarcraft.com/trial/freetrial.html
The trial is essentially the whole game. Same with TBC.
Another option is always bittorrent.
If nooooooonnnneeee if that is working for you, PM me and we can meet up and I'll copy my cds for you. |

If you are running Windows XP and have the language for non-unicode programs set to "Korean" then some programs will install in Korean, even if you are using an English version of Windows . The solution is to set your non-unicode to English, then install, then set it back to Korean (if you need that option.) |

You 100%, absolutely can, even without an existing account. Look for the link for a trial version.

That's what's probably happening.
Remember, install onto *your* computer, then copy over to your jump drive or external HDD. |

There are a ton of sites selling the *cd key* only. Best to put some money into pay pal now though because your korean IP might piss off their financial transactor. |
