Just a heads up to facebook users, there's a virus circulating around the service.
If you get a message with a link to a video or picture from a friend in broken English saying, "You look so nice in this pic/video" or something like that, don't click on it. |

I just got one saying "caught your a$$ on secret video" in a message from a friend. Obviously, my friend didn't send it... My anti-virus wouldn't let it open - called it a trojan. |

I caught that virus too... it froze all my buttons and wouldn't let me change my password. |

There have always been viruses on Facebook, from when I signed up however long ago that was. They have names like "You have 54 pirate invitations" or "You have 48 zombie invitations." |

I had a few emails like this too. They can also come through MSN. I got an IM from a friend which was a link to photos so clicked on it and next thing I know my computer is very sick. It ultimately nuked my hard drive. |

I got that too. I clicked on it, and the video seemed bring me to adultfriendfinder.
I haven't seen anything occur to my computer though. |

These things are really nasty. Look out for internet explorer browsers opening on their own and your homepage being changed.
The programmes that hide on your hard drive run other programmes and so it goes on. They're hard to find because the ones that are seen are loaded onto your machine by another programme. They disguise themselves as windows programmes like lsaas.exe and Isaas.exe (can't remember which one is the windows programme and which one is the trojan but if you are using serif text then you can't see the difference between those two) |

I DO have that problem. Particularly when I try to open up new windows OFF of my facebook account.
(I.E., internet explorer browsers open on their own with no end in sight). |

OK well I really would doubt that even a good anti virus programme would fix that. Try it but if I were you I would be going for a format and reinstall immediately.
When I had that happening I looked at my task manager and did a search on all the programmes that were running. I found keystroke loggers, trojans, yer maws and yer maws maw.
Get out of there before they come and get you.. |
