I'm just curious. Have you ridden a motorcycle before? If so, what were your previous bikes? Why are you insisting on a bike larger than 900ccs? What do you want to use the bike for? If you're going to be riding primarily in the city, a 900+ cc bike will be difficult to navigate through traffic. The gearing will be too tall and you will have trouble lane splitting.
Are you looking for a cruiser? If so, even a base model harley sportster doesn't fit your criteria (only has 886ccs). I've seen a couple of nice ultra classics cruising around (1800). Harley has many options in between these two bikes you could look at mostly 1200 and 1600cc varieties. Are you looking for a sport bike? Kawi ZX14? There's alot more to think about when purchasing a bike than just displacement.
You might want to post up on the "official motorcycle thread" in the off topic forum, they always seem to have good advice. They may help you narrow down your search. Good luck! |

Sport or sit up and beg. Yes I have bikes in Thailand. Ridden for 20yrs. It doesn't have to be bigger than 900cc. 900cc would be just fine. Don't want anything bigger than 1300cc. I live in the deep country plenty of good roads and mtns around. |

Completely different. You should know that a 900cc cruiser is completely different than a 900cc sport bike (like, for example, the Ducati 848), in terms of everything... especially engine power.
I've actually been kind of contemplating selling my bike, a 2002 CBR f4i, but it's 'only' a 600. |
