If you have a decent TV, then I highly suggest you spend a little more and get an Oppo from OppoKorea. You can make it region-free. I own the Oppo 980H, and from what I've heard, there's not much difference between it and the top-of-the-line model. My only beef with it is that after I unplug it, it sometimes loses its region-free ability, but it's a quick 5 or 6 keys to change it back (can be found on google search).
The quality of the image on this player beats even my PS3 in upconverting.
