Japanese like their teeth a bit scraggly because they think it looks cute.
I took a Japanese culture class before and long ago Japanese painted their teeth black because they thought they looked like bones sticking out which was considered unattractive.

Yeah, when I was in Japan, they have such outrageous style...seriously I felt like I was surrounding by aliens...so extravagent, so much makeup and hair extensions in multi-colors...I never felt so plain.

i've also noticed that koreans, both men and women, look a little bit more brawny, both in face and body.

japanese (women, especially) tend to be a little bit more dainty, but small or big, nearly every korean woman i saw naked had this sort of thoroughbred-like figure.

i'm always afraid i'm going to break a japanese girl, koreans, no. perhaps it's all that barbarian stock from mongolia and manchuria (and i wonder if they'd ever admit to this being part of their genetic makeup).

there's another thing i've noticed - the gelfling look. some japanese women (and only women, i've never seen it in japanese men) have this serious elfin thing going on with their facial features. somewhat more slanty eyes, small face, smaller mouth, and these ears that jut way the hell out at the top, almost horizontal at times... i wish i was brave enough to take pictures of it when i see it... but it's a weird feature that i think is unique to japanese women. my old japanese teacher in seoul had it, my yoga instructor has it, my friend's wife has it... it's so common, and i haven't really gotten used to it.

there are also more big-boned people here, i think.

Been living in Japan for about a month now and have noticed quite a few physical differences. I'm assuming there was a lot of mixing in the gene pool in Japan from Portugese, British, Dutch and American sailors while Korea was still the hermit kingdom as a lot of Japanese don't look obviously east asian, the skin tone and shape of the eyes is all over the place, my boss looks more native American than Japanese and I've got a few students who could pass for hispanic.

Japanese study and work less hours and usually play sports in their free time so they are a bit more well built than Koreans.

Korean dudes have 2 hairstyles, the mop top or the stay puff style, more variety here, I see a lot of skinheads, crops ect. Japanese adjossis tend to go for facial hair more. The women all seem to have that 'Rachel from friends' style hair that was popular back home about 10 years ago.

Koreans win for teeth, don't know why, maybe dentists in Japan are too expensive.

Only 5% of my students here wear glasses, while in Korea it was 60%.

In short (shocking teeth aside) Japanese look a lot like gyopos....in that I mean Koreans who have been raised in an environment where they have less stress, more exercise and more free time than the average Seoulite.

Interestingly a lot of Japanese women I've met say they find Korean guys attractive because they are more 'manly' than Japanese guys.....can't really see where they're coming from but I'm not a chick so what do I know.

Try the faces quiz (Japanese, Chinese, or Korean?). Gotta register first, only takes a minute.

I got 8/18, average is 7/18.

I got 13/18 right. It says I'm "pretty talented." LOL

I just took the food quiz, too and also got 13/18 right.
