I am wondering about two things.
1. Is there anywhere that sells used bike parts?
2. Are there any good breakfast joints in Seoul? Omletes, hashbrowns and Bloody Marys? |

An omlette is eggs. Scramble 3 eggs, cook on a medium-low fire until almost cooked through, add your favorite toppings and fold the right side in, then the left, cook a minute or two longer to steam your toppings a bit, then eat.
Hash browns, American style, are shredded potatoes. Take a white potato or two or three and shred. Put in enough oil to cover the bottom of the frypan barely, then put potatoes on it, salt. Cover and steam/cook for about 20 minutes or more. Remove the cover and turn the heat up, crisp it up on the bottom, turn, crisp it up on the top, and serve.
A Bloody Mary is hard, but you can find Worcestershire at a few of the megamarts. Tobasco too! if you want to pay a lot more, though, you could go to a foreigner market in Itaewon. Buy bloody mary mix, not tomato juice, as it's very sweet. Pour in vodka, mix, worcestershire, and tobasco, add celery (or celery salt if you have none), and serve. |

i haven't run into any stores that sell used stuff. you'd have to check out some of the online 'cafes' for that. my lbs guy does it for me if i have specific requests. |

I fully understand the ingredients required for these items, but its a lot easier to have them prepared for you at a dining establishment when you are trying to fend off your Saturday morning hangover. Thanks for the input though.
Bummer on the lack of shops that sell used bike parts. I was hoping to peice together a beater for the winter. I will have to keep my eyes open online I suppose. |

dude, you can buy a beater here for about what you'd spend putting one together. i noticed a really cool lespo the other day, 'titanium' finish, disc-brakes, fake regal saddle and colored tires all for W200,000. |

I had a Korean friend write me a note saying "May I go through your junkyard for bike parts?" and everywhere I went there were no problems. I even tried offering a few bucks and was rejected. Once place brought me coffee while I was rummaging through the junk.
I could have put together a pile of usable bikes from what I found thrown away. If I bike breaks down here it's discarded and a new one is bought. |

Do a google search or other of MTB korea groups. There are 3 I know of with one being here in Seoul. one in Osan and the other in Teagu. Lots of stuff floating around since a few cats are leaving. |
