I was wondering if it is right that i have found myself cleaning the toilets, windows, and floors as part of my daily routine. This was not in my contract.
My director has told me that my cleaning duties mean i dont have to work weekends:)

I take it you are working in a hagwon. ???? If so, you are either contracted for Saturdays or not. I would say it is normal to clean you class room at the end of the day. When I was in a hagwon I used to sweep and mop the floor and clean mthe desks. but everything else was a cleaners job.
I would seriously talk to your director about it, you came here to teach English not clean toilets. good luck. |

No way! It doesn't say anything about that in your contract right? Then it's not your job. I'm contracted 8:30 - 4:30 Monday to Friday, as an English Teacher. Refuse, refuse, refuse! |

what's wrong with doing your boss' laundry? i think it builds a closer bond. so i do all of the teachers' laundry and i'm at a public school. if they bring their children's laundry, i do that too. |

So, you went to university for 4-years so that one day you'd end up cleaning stinky, Korean pissrims?
Nice. I'm sure your mother's proud you loser. |
