Just bought "Left 4 Dead" on Steam. Based on the demo alone, I highly recommend it.

Quite possibly the most fun I've had in a long time. Co-op games are great, especially when they're made by Valve.

I didn't think it was out yet, at least on the 360 anyway.

You can pre-order it on the PC and play the demo. You can only get the demo if you pre-order. It's really good... and feels like a big bite of the total game, even though it's only like 5% of what there will be.

That's a negative. Maybe in screenshots, but not in play.

The game runs on a revamped, pimped out Orange Box engine (a la Valve). The lead character textures look great, as do the normal game textures. There is real time, dynamic lighting and bump mapping that reacts to it. It looks the best when you have your flashlight turned on.

The engine really suits the game and makes it look strong, yet doesn't take a huge amount of horsepower which is important when you have 200 clever-AI zombies on screen at a time.

Then again, I run mine at 1280x1024 (highest my LCD can go) with all the settings maxed out.

Am playing the 360 demo and I have to say it's a lot of fun.
I like how there are different types of zombies, like hunters, boomers and smokers; the witch is fun to kill.
