People won't be big on wearing gloves.

I was equally impressed by the set-up seen in the new Bond movie, Quantum of Solace.

i see a different problem ... while this concept is great in both minority report and 007 ... i think people are going to be too lazy to use the system.

the table system in 007 was good, but it's going to be damn uncomfortable to use for extended periods.

the systems where people were standing up are going to be a lot of hard work. you know how it is ... standing up and writing on a whiteboard all day is hard!

humans are inherently lazy ... i can see people complaining when they realise how much exercise these systems require ...

hell, playing a wii is fun for the first hour or two ... then people just get tired of it ... nintendo's biggest mistake is thinking that people actually want to get off their fat arses!! LOL

I see the next Nintendo Wii. Can you imagine the gaming on that? Incredible!

yeah, nintendo's biggest mistake has made them the best-selling gaming platform for what 3 years now?

yes, people are lazy, but being able to use your hands to do more than just type and click could revolutionize how we think about using computers. i think it's just a matter of finding the right uses for this thing, which will probably not be word processing or surfing the net.

but dear god, can you imagine if the Internet turned out to look as awesomely retarded as it did in Hackers? (That whole 3D environment with the japanese characters in the video is what i'm referencing.) You could redesign the internet as something more than just a giant book with a gajillion pages.

Nintendo has already stated that they are not going to upgrade their console system for some time relative to what the average 3-4 year upgrade was.

They said they are going to wait for the next big innovation in technology that would greatly enhance the gaming experience. So I would not pull it over nintendo to incorporate technology like this, of course on a less grandiose scale. But just like the wii, the technology for this was already there, its just a matter of implementing it in the correct/right way.

Plus what they are showing would be geared more towards large organizations for interactive presentations. But I believe that in the not too distance future it will not be uncommon for people to have an entire wall dedicated for their interactive computer needs.
