I dont understand why you whiners keep complaining? I am the equivalent to a God in this country. The Koreans practically worship me, when Im walking Koreans can do all they can to brush up against my body. I realized this was the case when no apology was forthcoming and so their acts were intentional and just to get a brush with my superiority.

Koreans hate Americans? Not so! I am an American and Ive experienced no form of ridicule or lack of respect. Just the opposite, they hold Americans in such esteem here that when I bless them with my presence on the subway they all stare and whisper to each other. You can tell by the looks on their faces they are in awe. I wish they had the courage to speak their praises to me instead of whispering them to each other though.

There have been times though when I am absolutely amazed by their love for me. When I enter and purchase Korean liquor they sell it to me so very cheap and I know they must be selling at a loss. I know that the reason must be that they are honored that I frequent their establishments. I try to humble them and smile and pretend their drink does not taste like rubbing alcohol for I know if I express my distaste for this drink it would crush their spirits.

When I try to bank here the banks adore me. They want me to stay forever and to never leave. Sometimes they pretend not to understand my simple requests in order to prolong their time with me. They go so far to express their desire to keep me here and tempt me to not venture anywhere else by not allowing me to spend my money from their banks in foreign countries. I know that if I did use my bank card they would see my name and purchase and lament my absence from Korea. This level of sweet caring love for me simply touches my heart.

The ultimate sign of their affection for me is how the women here throw themselves at me. Usually when I am walking late at night and take shortcuts down alleys to get home faster I am all but attacked by women who beckon me into their gently lit pink abodes. They turn off their bright white lights to surely not offend my eyes. Sometimes when I go inside they are eager to spend their minutes with me and get me out the door to the next woman so that they can share my love. They adore my presence so much that they seek mementos of my time with them. So I usually give the some cheap and worthless item I have upon my person to placate them. Lately, this has been some of their own currency which has the value of toilet paper. Yet, they are so pleased to get something that has been connected to me that they run out to show their grandmothers who wait outside to hear the tales of my skinship.

You guys need to quit whining. This is a fantastic place and I am treated like a God here. I see not the sourness and temper of which you all so frequently speak. They love us foreigners.

I think I understand why you whine and complain. To keep others from knowing about this paradise. I understand but we should all spread the love like the Koreans have shown us to do. Come one, come all! Experience the amazing culture I have.

This post is a bit excessive, but there are certainly things to enjoy about Korea and its culture.

The Korean won is a big disappointment now, though. Crying or Very sad

The only culture I've seen since I've been here is the Italian one in all the knockoff bags I see everywhere....

I came here FOR the culture, and all I get is stares and Kimchi.

Guess we found out who M-Su's sock is... or who M-Su was a sock for...

Or maybe this is just some copycat attempting to steal the crown from the now-passe' king of hyperbolic stupidity.
